Little ones and families - Fredericton Photographer
I have to say the weather has certainly been cooperative this summer compared to last. There has been little rescheduling so far due to the wonderful sunny days we have been having.
Getting to hang out with these two little guys was a blast! They were very well behaved but very much into exploring, climbing and of course when you see a pond and there’s rocks, then one can’t resist to throw some in.
Big brother was very smart for his age and was open to all sorts of discussions.
And he was a very loving older brother to Mr. S his younger brother!
They also knew how to play and have a lot of fun! One of my favs!
and there were more laughs and quite moments.
Beautiful smiles!
And one beautiful, sweet mom that I so enjoyed meeting!
I love what this does to my heart when I look at it! It kind of turns to mush!
Thanks Amy for bringing your boys to the park for some quality hanging out time!
1 commentWhere do they go? - Fredericton Photographer
Do you ever wonder what the little babies I photograph grow up and look like. Well you may not but I often do. So when I get to go back and visit them at 6 mos. or a year or even later it is always so much fun to see how they have changed and grown.
Miss E. has definitely grown in a year but I also think she looks alot like her newborn images. She is gorgeous for sure. But how could she not with these gorgeous parents!
Oh the anticipation of expecting your first child. There is no other feeling that comes close!
Then they arrive with all the wonder and sleepless nights that come with it! Yet oh so worth it.
You blink… and a year has gone by!
With each day that passes they become even more gorgeous to you. Filling your soul, the piece you didn’t realize was missing.
They make you say and do things you said you would never do, but it’s OK because now, you simply can not imagine life without them.
What was life like before them you ask yourself?
Before….
…the sleepless nights.
…the constant worrying.
before the hugs, cuddles and little laughs that make your heart dance.
As parents we all ask the same questions.
But… maybe it is best not to ask, but rather enjoy each moment we share, always looking upon them as a gift. The best gifts that life has to offer!
3 commentsFamily Fun- Fredericton Photographer
I am happy to share a sneak peek of a family session I recently did. I have known Jill for a few years as our daughters go to school together. She and her husband Chris are wonderful parents who make it obvious that their children and family is their focus in life. The love for their children is so apparent, as is the fun times and pure enjoyment they get out of spending time together as a family.
Chris is always taking the photos so Jill wanted a chance to have him in some and I think we managed just a few! Actually a ton and I am having a hard time narrowing down the ones to show here on the blog.
The girls loved to give Dad “knock-down hugs”. There was a ton of hugs, tickles and kisses. All this makes it easy to photograph the natural interaction of this family. When my clients can relax, have fun, and even act goofy, I love the result.
Check out some very fun pictures below. Jill, Chris and their two sweet girls Miss J. and Miss A.
Miss A has the BEST sense of style for an eight year old! Check out the shoes!
Miss J was definitely a mama’s girl! And what a great mama she has!
mom and dad have one of those relationships that you can tell they are friends first above all else!
OK I could go on and on with this sneak peek but then there would be nothing left for them when I show them the gallery!
Thanks Jill and Chris. I had a wonderful morning with you and your beautiful girls! Thanks for letting me capture your wonderful relationship!
2 commentsKids-mini sessions and more- Fredericton Photographer
Well things are getting busy with all the nice weather we have been having. I did a mini session for fathers day and the spots filled within hours of sending out the email. I will be doing more so watch for them. I am finding them alot of fun, to see so many faces in a morning is very different for me. To shoot in a 10 min time frame is very different for me. The idea of doing mini shoots was a bit scary to me at first who’s typical session runs from one to two hours! But I think we got alot accomplished in the 10 min. When you have such wonderful clients, who arrive on time with their cooperative children… it all works out perfectly. Even the weather held out just until the last session. Take a look at these wonderful kiddos.
and a few moms and a Dad joined in!
More sneak peeks to come. I have been getting to meet lots of new little ones… and then some I already know.
Shanyn’s kids are on my blog page topper and I got to see them once again. This was a family session with the grandparents and I will be showing more soon.
and Mr. D who was a bit quiet and laid back. I think we still managed to elicit a few great smiles from him.
Puppy Love- Fredericton Photographer
Well I guess I am beginning to step into doing pet photography. There seems to be a few more clients lately asking to have their pets included…. and Daisy was my first puppy this year to be my model. I have an 11 year old dog so I get how important our pets are to us. They are part of the family and they love us unconditionally.
I did a photo shoot of Maureen and miss g two years ago and was so happy to be able to hang out with them again. This time there was three. Daisy being only a puppy was excited to be out running around. Miss G was very good with her and she loved to follow her around. Plus she even listened at times!
Miss G and some pretty light!
Mom and daughter have a wonderful relationship and I am glad to have the chance to capture it.

I can’t wait to show you your gallery which will be ready soon.
No commentsOne Lucky Mom! - Fredericton New Born Photographer
Since I will be leaving for a family trip to the rockies tomorrow I thought I better post a few images for a sneak peek for one special mother! I had so much fun hanging out with Lisa and her kids. Mom looked amazing for having a new 8 day old little girl. And what a beautiful little girl she was. She was perfect, ate, slept, let me take a ton of images of her. And she is one lucky little girl with amazing older and beautiful siblings!
Welcome to the world miss K. You are truly blessed with a beautiful family and one special mom.
Happy early Mothers Day to all your wonderful Mom’s out there! I wish you lots of love and family time during your special day!
I said they were beautiful. Look at those amazing eyes and curls!
She let me put her in all sorts of things. What a good girl!
Love how curly she was!
And sibling shots are usually not something that is easy to get or achieve. Especially with a 4 year old. But wow, they were so patient and cooperative.
And while I was walking through the kitchen I spotted this really cool salad bowl. Of course I had to use it!!!
You Mommies out there… if this doesn’t get your baby urges going, I’m not sure what will!!
A few awesome MOM QUOTES!
| “A mother understands what a child does not say.” |
| —Jewish proverb |
The most important thing she’d learned over the years was that there was no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one.
A mother is not a person to lean on, but a person to make leaning unnecessary.
There is no other closeness in human life like the closeness between a mother and her baby. ![]()

Sorry about two posts in a row about my daughter. But I just had to share her first gymnastics competition and some photos. Yes, I’m a proud mamma. She did great and she was surprising well at managing her nerves. I know that she had a blast and truly enjoys this wonderful sport. The time and effort, dicipline and commitment it takes to do this will certainly serve her well as she grows.
A few images of my daughter. She is in the entry level competitive program and travelled to Miramichi this past weekend to compete.

“A mirror with a memory.” Thank you for camera’s and memories.
She is going to be eight years old one month from today! My heart weeps for her innocence and wishes to hold onto it just awhile longer.
My heart sings at the promise that tomorrow brings.
The purpose she has here on earth, what each day will bring to her life and what she will take from each moment.
She was today, she was tomorrow, she was the faintest scent of a flower.
