I LOVE Storyboards

And if you aren’t sure what a storyboard is then look here.  I created this for Melissa and it is her gift from me for her wedding.  I will bring it to you in September Melissa when I come to shoot the wedding.  Hoping you like it.

This is something I offer to my clients.  Up to five pictures per storyboard and a few different sizes.  As you can see in this one they often tell a story.  I love that about them.  Not to mention it being a nice way to showcase similar images together such as the one of Melissa and Jamie.  It almost seems like he is proposing to her?  That feeling of love captured in the sequence of pictures.  The "story" playing itself out.  Very cool!

Storyboards are fun and for me… well I guess this helps to fulfill my old scrapbooking desires.  :)

Watch my site for a new gallery of different examples of these.  I will have a whole gallery of examples for customers to view samples and to assist them in visualizing how their completed one will look.

Here is one I posted on my personal blog of MJ… my daughter.  It is just so her.

Sharing My Work

Image102web Image8 Image4 Image2 I am glad to have this space to share with my clients.  I will be posting recent sessions and fun things that I will be doing with the business in the next few months.  I have some fun things in store in the next few weeks.  I will be offering limited family sessions just in time for those Christmas cards.  Lots of other cool stuff in store but you will have to check back to find out what is going on with Rankin Photography as I launch my new blog.  Image5_1

I love to be able to share my thoughts on my sessions and my images.  The people I meet are so incredibly fun and inspiring and it will be great to have a chance to share those session images here.  So check back to see the recent posts and images.  I will be creating albums/galleries on the side so watch for them as I add more to the site.

My recent session… Melissa and Jamie. What a great couple.  I am shooting their wedding this September and they are going  to be such a fun couple to work with.  We started the session at UNB then moved downtown.  What a patient couple.  Especially Jamie, considering how hot it was outside.  I think we spent 3 hours together.   But check out the light we got after 8:30pm.  Awesome! Thanks for coming to town to do this guys.  I had a blast!

I have just begun to proof this.  So stayed tuned for more that I will post here in a gallery.

Melissa, hope you enjoy them.
