Eyes, Eyes! wonderful eyes.
I have photographed alot of kids but I can say I have not seen eyes like this little girl had. They all had gorgeous blue eyes, and they were cousins. But Miss A’s eyes were incredible. And the 7 mos. old baby. Well I was lucky enough to photograph him when he was a newborn. If you follow this blog or my work, you may remember the cool shot in the poka dot blanket. I will post it at the bottom to jog your memory. Well he grew just a bit and mom wanted him and his two cousins photographed. So here they are, in all of their wonder, innocence and beauty!
Hope you like them Krista and Jenn.
And Her brother was adorable. A bit young for my Daughter, but what a heart breaker he is going to be when he get’s older!
And Mr. J. All 7 mos. of him. Love his cheeks. I could just squeeze them!
And one where he wasn’t putting stuff in his mouth! But hey, you did to when you were 7 mos. old I bet!
and another one of Miss “A”. Loved her eyes. Did I mention that!
and a little modelling action!
And one of all three. I think the mom’s thought that I didn’t get any. But I got one!
And no, not incredibly easy to accomplish with a 7 mos., 2 and 4 year old.
OK, I got another.
And one more of Mr. J. In a basket on the train bridge. With amazing light, but a bit tough to shoot and expose in.
Hope you like them Krista and Jenn. I should have your gallery up soon.
OH, Mr. J when we first met!! Love this shot! Oh my how they change so quickly.
But it is so much fun for me to get to see them grow.

yes, well I can’t last long before I post yet another newborn. I don’t have that many newborn sessions left this year actually. One more session before the end of October and that will be it until the New Year.
This mom caught me answering my phone while I was on vacation this year. Good thing or I may not have been able to fit her in. Melissa, you have a beautiful family. Enjoy this time.
Gorgeous mom!
I wanted to get a shot in this funky arched stool, but it took quite a few tries to get her to settle into it. I would say it was worth it.
I love some in black and white but the blanket was really fun so I wanted to show both.
And one on the chair. They had the most gorgeous house and furniture to work with. I was totally jealous.
When I was getting ready to leave at the end, I had this idea in my head before I arrived. She had purchased some amazingly cute outfits so I of course hung them on the line
rather then try and take a picture with them on. But who wants to wake a sleeping baby! I love this shot.
Last ones with mom and Dad. Thanks for a great session guys.

I love to photograph Families as well as babies. There has been alot of babies and children lately but thought I would share a few family sessions as well. One is from earlier in the summer which I never got a chance to post here and the other is from last month. They were both so relaxed, went with the flow and let me just do my thing.
I told Miss “N” that she could be a model. Not certain that she believed me. I loved her freckles and she reminded me of my own 6 year old daughter with freckles.
Some gorgeous light!
When she smiled her face lite up!!
And her little brother. Not too interested in me and my camera but what 6 year old would be? I managed to get a few good ones though.
And some family/play time.
They were all very close.
And one last one of Miss “N”. Thanks Veronica. I hope you are enjoying all of your images.
And this mom booked me quite awhile ago. You may recognize her daughter at the top of my blog images. She was one of the models/clients picked for a commercial shoot I did for Hatheway/Instrum Orthodontics last year. She is a natural in front of the camera as well.
And her brother was home from University for the summer.
I said to mom I hope my children will grow up to be as close and as wonderful as these two are. Truly amazing kids. Never too old to have some fun!
This reminds me of the daughter/father relationship. My daughter is in love with her father and I hope they remain close like these two obviously are!
A close family indeed. Thanks Sandy. You are truly blessed with a wonderful family!!
OK so I love feet shot. Leg shots. Etc. Am I the only one? :) Some fun post processing.

As mentioned, I am behind in posting sessions. So I thought I would continue with the pace of posting every few days *gasp* and get caught up in some of the unposted images. Katie, I also think I haven’t posted yours yet! Oh my! I am behind. OK so a few more for now. Different sessions. One sweet 5 mos. old little guy all the way from New Foundland with his mom. She brought him to visit her sister and booked me for this session. He was teething this day and it was raining outside but we made it work.
Ummmm… he had amazing eyes.
and spunk!
and a beautiful mom!
a sweet little girl at the park. Mom travelled all the way from St. John with her and we had a fun two hours.
She wasn’t giving up her cheerios during the shoot however! :) So we shot in between chews. Ha!
thanks to both mom’s for bringing their little ones to me from away. It was wonderful to meet you!

that I never had a chance to get to share with everyone. I did this session a few months ago, but it was one of my favorites. Little miss S. was shy but I was so happy she trusted me enough to let me in for a bit. Her Daddy is awesome and an amazing father. Her little room was special and she loved to play dress up and use her sweet imagination.
Thank you Miss. S.! I had a wonderful time and you hold a special place in my heart!!
This is my favorite from the entire session (and it was hard to choose). I love how it tells the story of how close her and her dad really are!
You can see she is most content in her Dad’s arms!
And dad climbed into her bed and read her a story. Her face lit up while he read it to her.
See the Star Wars figures? Well let’s just sayDad was a big fan!
Don’t ever stop dancing little one!
5 commentsshort and sweet
Well, yes, this little baby girls was short and she was as sweet as they come. But I am going to keep this post short as I am working hard this week to get caught up and stay on top of all the sessions I am proofing.
Jackie had booked me last year for a family shoot, and then called me when she knew she was expecting. I was so excited and her little girl was the sweetest. She didn’t think she would sleep much for me but she surprised both of us and did really really well. I guess I caught her on a good day!
I am way behind in sharing sneak peeks. More like the clients have already gotten their gallery, and made their orders and are moving on. But I want to share a few in the next few days of all the sessions I have had in the past few months that I never had a chance to share! I hate to leave anyone out and I plan on doing another slideshow for 2008.
My schedule! Ummm, well I am pretty much booked from now until October. I have had a few calls that I haven’t had a chance to even return, but I will soon. If you are looking for spot, you can email me and I will let you know if I can fit you in. I have had people on a waiting list for quite sometime and spots filled quickly.
On to baby M!
and grammy was there helping out. So I shot this while she held her in between shots.
baby brother was so great to get up on the bed while she slept and let us take a few shots. Even after having just woke up from a nap.
and mom and baby.
