Can you see it?

Their spirits.  Their true essence.  What shines inside!  Not the outside, not the obvious physical beauty, but what lies underneath and within each of these children.  I can tell you that I honestly see it when I look at these children and the images I captured.

I had a wonderful time hanging out with these two incredibly fun AND funny little ones.

C. is just 9 years old, the same age as my son, and boys, will I be attempting to hook them up some day.  She started track and field this year and excelled at it.  She got asked to go to Moncton for the overall meet.  Way to go girl.

I adored her red hair and those blue eyes!  Oh my…. *sigh*.  A joy to photograph.  Incredibly patient with her younger brother and I could just tell she had this old spirit within.  So smart and beyond her years.

And her younger brother M.  Oh he stole my heart.  Truly he did.  I loved his sense of humor and he kept me laughing the whole time.

Check out Dad’ very cool old Jeep!

And a family shot. Mum was worried because M was being a bit of a ham.  But what 4 year old likes to sit for pictures?

He had a hard time being serious.   Oh the faces he could do.  It had me laughing to the point of tears!

But then he would listen to reason (he he) and I think he liked me… because he gave me this.

And then I took Miss C and we walked around their property.  They had a lane, and an apple tree and it was a perfect fall evening.

but some I just have to show in black and white.  Love this one!

and then I got this one!  I love it.  One of my favorites.  You can expect to see it on my site someday.  It speaks so much to me.  Beautiful!

Busy Busy

It is the busy season.  I have had to turn away many people who have called for fall images as I am just too full to accept any more clients this month.  I am really trying to keep up with the workflow and demand and will hopefully be able to get a few of you in for the spring if you are still wanting images.  Just email me and let me know so I can put you on the list.  I have already started one so it is best to email and let me know you are looking for spring.

Being the busy season I will keep this to posting some recent images.  Hoping you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and some “fixings”.  I was in St. Andrews to photograph a beautfiul wedding and will have some images up soon for you to see.

For now check out these recent images.  For some of my clients it is their first sneak peek from their session where others have already gotten their galleries.  Thank you to my clients who are being so patient with me during this extremely busy time.

A wonderful family with two extremely busy parents career wise and parent wise.  Boys just keep you busy, plain and simple.

I know they kept me busy.  :) and I had a great time.

It can be easy to get a shot like this.

but nice to get one like this as well.

And this little guy is one of my first “yearly planners”.  I met him when he was in mom’s belly.  And now a year later….

and mom and sis.  Love  these two girls. Thy are the best, not to mention gorgeous!

for his one year shoot we went to my favorite apple picking place, Everettes farms!  It is stunning here.  Not to mention the kids had a ball and Nate had a chance to try out the apples now that he has a few teeth!

And this sweet family!  My daughter has known Abby since preschool.  One of my all time favorite images that I took is of Abby.

Her mom Jocelyn is the sweetest, and I got to photograph Anna, the newest member of the family.  But not for long as mom is expecting.  I hope I get to meet the next member when they arrive.

This was a session that had a hard beginning when Abby got stung by a wasp or hornet (not sure) within the first 5 min. of the start of it.  BUT… she was an incredible trooper and continued on after some tears and hugs.  If you have ever got stung by one you will know how much they hurt!  I was so proud of her for staying and completing the session.  She is amazing and brave!

But look at what I got.  I love this one!  Perhaps now my favorite again.  The light was low, and shining over her shoulder, but I still love it.

and Anna…

love it when I get this type of shot.

and a family one.  Mom wasn’t sure, but I think we made out ok.

I have more coming.  Wish I could post all the images for everyone to see as there are often so many I love.

Happy fall!

Tis the Season

Well, perhaps not quite yet, but it may be wise to begin thinking about Christmas and plan for the holidays as they are sure to sneak up on all of us.  Did I ever tell you that I was married on December 28th.  Why?  Because Christmas is my favorite time of year!  I love everything about it.  The giving of gifts, the fresh baked goods, the smell of Christmas Trees and the decorations we get to pull out of our basement and go through each year.  I love revisiting them as if all brand new, each ornament and decoration conjuring up its own story and memory.

I love to stay in on cold snowy days and bake home made bread, cookies, pies and candy in anticipation of the holidays.  The decorations and lights on peoples homes as you drive around town simply make it magical and that much more amazing.

And of course the gift that we all received on this day and the true meaning it holds!

In anticipation of this, I wanted to share my holiday custom cards with you.  If you are a previous 2008 client and want to order while having met the min. requirement you may still send me your order for these wonderful cards.  If you are a present client, then don’t miss out on the opportunity to share your fun images with all your friends and family.

Here is a taste of the wonderful cards.  Check out the link for all the cards we are offering for 2008.  I can’t wait to share mine with you all.

lots of family’s and fun

Well I have been having alot of fun with families lately.  Little ones who love to smile, laugh and just play.  We can all learn something from them.  To be in the “Now”, live for the present, and be grateful for the little things in life.  Flowers, kisses, a hug, and the comfort that comes from knowing you are loved.

Peggy, Jeff and their children knew how to play and have fun together.  Peggy, here is a show for you to enjoy over the long weekend.
