A few quotes today. Kids are off for a few days with Remembrance Day and Parent Teacher meetings. But it is nice and sunny so we will probably get out a bit.
Sorry for being MIA… we have all been struggling with colds, flu’s and illnesses the past month and my blog has been dearly neglected. I am hoping to be up to sharing more soon. Hope everyone has a great November.
I think this is so true. Choices are everything. And we are blessed to have had those men in our Country who have fought for our freedom to allow us to continue to have choices.

I am turning 41 in a few weeks and I feel I am really beginning to know what I want in life vs. when I was in my 20’s or 30’s. It is a nice feeling and I am being more decisive in my choices I make ie. clothing, food, furniture, in general how I choose to spend my time and even my money. The choice is now based on whether it will make my life truly better. One good choice I have no doubt about is booking a family getaway to go downhill skiing with my family around Christmas. For me, time with my family is everything and the money is something that is a means to being together, sharing memories and special moments. It is what life is about and what should matter most!

And wonderful quote by Mark Twain. I believe this to be so true. Having gone to school but knowing that I have learned far more in my life outside of school. If you choose to look each day you can learn something knew.

Have a great day. And I am excited to be getting this coming to my doorstep soon. A 20×24 canvas of my children. It isn’t perhaps the “perfect” portrait one would think of to print on canvas… but it exemplifies who my children are and their relationship!
I will post a picture when I get it up. This image was taken last year and it is one of my favorites. Very spontaneous… but so REAL!
