Decor Inspiration
I haven’t yet figured out what my decorating style may be but certainly over the past few years I know I have moved towards more of a clean look. Needless to say I have a long way to go in defining my style! Ha!
It seems like there are endless house projects to do. I just finished painting my kitchen cupboards and I think they turned out really nice. Amazing what paint and new hardware can do for an old 20 year old kitchen. We still have to replace the counter (I can’t decide what I want for now) and the sink and faucet. These updates are in lieu of gutting the entire kitchen for a new one. That project is not for another two to three years. We updated my main floor powder room… it turned out nice. I will provide some pictures of this when I get a chance. There is still a ton to do but it can be hard with a family and activities five days a week!
I am in the deciding process for my living room. I have updated the furniture to a new leather couch and chairs… but I am struggling with wall colors. Whatever I decide I am trying to imagine something decorative on the walls. I found these ideas and just love them. Maybe too bold? I think they are fun. What do you think?

I love love this one. It would be fun for a child’s room or playroom.
Don’t forget about Valentines day coming soon. I was working on my daughters treats for her classmates. I designed a personalized topper for candy and a bookmark for her to give out to her friends and class. I will share those in a few days.
If you are wanting to book for a spring session just a note that I will be away the first of May so spaces will be limited for the month of May. June and July typically fill fast.
Watch for some spring savings and a mini session advertisement to take advantage of in my newsletter and to be posted here.

I love the wall art…especially the big tree..so cute for a playroom! Can’t wait to see pic’s of your “new” kitchen, Shelley! Knowing your taste, it will look like a pic from a magazine!

I love the wall art. Absolutely gorgeous. Love the tree of course, but I also adore the rectangle one in the first image. Very nice.
I love the second one - I could see that in your dining room, it would tie into the trees in the backyard.
I think that’s the kind of thing I’ve been looking for over the couch in the tv room - the space is waaaaaaaaaay too big for a print or artwork.
