Go Green

I am a big believer in the reduce, reuse, recycle approach. I (we) do it here at our home, to the point of aggravating my entire family when something doesn’t get recycled. I have also attempted to apply that same approach to my company. I do this by offering an online “welcome package” and a “client website” for each of my clients. It has all the information my old paper package use to but even better, with links to their client galleries, pdf links and a ton of information right at their finger tips. No more “where did that welcome package go to?” If you lose the link, just email me again. I’ll send it along. My booking and workflow involves very little paper. I shoot digital, use my computer for editing, provide online proofing for my clients and then upload order to my professional lab via computer. No paper!

Why go green?

With many young working professionals as my clients, who’s time is valuable, and a busy working mom myself, an online approach to the business ie. welcome packages, client galleries and online proofing has been embraced and a welcome change. It’s effective in reducing paper, convenient for a busy family life and my clients love that they can share their images with family and friends everywhere. Digital photography has changed the way we approach photography today and the way I have approached my business.
What about the packaging and fluff?

OK, I will admit that there is a bit of paper, and fun stuff. How can I not take time to have fun packaging your beautiful images for you. So when you get your images, with the tissue paper, black boxes, and brown shopper bags, don’t forget to reuse them or recycle them. I love to package them beautifully for you, but I love it even more when you turn around and share it with someone else or recycle it.

The environment is our friend, if we treat it well. We can all do our part.
